Lord Narasimha is said to be one of the most fiercest, powerful and destructive avatars of Mahavishnu. There is no evil entity that cannot be overcome by the power of Lord Narasimha. Rig Veda refers to Vishnu’s qualities as Narasimha being ‘some wild beast, dread, prowling and mountain roaming’. In evolution theory, this avathar reflects the transformation of animal to man.
