Ganesha Idol ( Lord of Prosperity & Good Luck )

Lord Ganesha represents Joy and happiness which is symbolic to bring Prosperity and Good Luck.

In this posture Lord Ganesha is depicted with his four hands. The upper right hand has a 'parshi' . The lower right hand is raised with palm facing outwards away from the body with fingers flexed. This hand gesture is called 'Abhayamudra' that offers protection for all from all evils. The upper left hand is shown holding a flower. The lower left hand holds a special sweet called 'Modak or Laddoo'. It is believed that it is the favorite sweet of Lord Ganesha.

Ganesha is one who clears your way of all obstacles. His other name is Vighnaharta, i.e. the one who takes away all impediments, obstacles, sorrows. So, he is worshipped to ensure the success of any new venture. The intention here, is to pre-emptively remove any difficulties which might come in the path of success. Such is Ganesha's reputation of ensuring a smooth flow of all operations, that he is the first one to be worshipped during yajnas.

Brass is well known for its grasping capacity. It grasps the divine spirit upto 30%, when compared to other metals. The spiritual vibrations are attracted towards these shining idols easily.
