Lotus Meenakari Crown (Mukut) is the traditional symbolic form of headgear for Gods and Goddess. It represents power, legitimacy, victory, triumph, honour, and glory, as well as immortality, righteousness, and resurrection. This Lotus crown represents the happiness and power surrounding world.
The lotus is known to be associated with purity, spiritual awakening and faithfulness. The flower is considered pure as it is able to emerge from murky waters in the morning and be perfectly clean. Therefore in common with mythology the lotus is seen as a sign of rebirth, but additionally it is associated with purity.
This Mukut is studded with artificial gemstones with attached string for adjustment of the crown on the deity head.
