Janeu for Deity Idol

Janeu or Janeyu made in copper with golden polish for ritual ceremonies or God and Goddess ornament. The sacred Yajnopavitam is known by many names (varying by region and community), such as Janivaara, Jandhyam, Poita, Poonal, Janeu, Lagun, Yajnopavita, Yagyopavit, Yonya and Zunnar. 

The janeu represent purity in thought, word and deed expected from the wearer. One is UpavÄ«tam, where the Yajnopavitam is worn over the left shoulder and under the right arm. This is for Gods.
