Gauranga is a name of Krishna in Puranic literature, and in Gaudiya Vaishnavism, in particular, the name of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (considered a reincarnation of Krishna). Within Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition it is taken to refer to Chaitanya Mahaprabhus golden skin complexion.
