These Natural Shaligram Shilas are represent 10 avatars of Lord Vishnu. When the balance between good and evil tilts in favor of evil, Vishnu appears upon the earth as one of the ten Vishnu avatars or dashavatar to restore the balance.
The first four avatars (Matsya, Koorma, Varaha & Narasimha) of God Vishnu appeared in Satya or Krita Yuga (also known as the Golden Age). The next three (Vamana, Parasurama & Sri Rama) appeared in Treta Yuga, the eighth (Sri Balarama) and ninth (Sri Krishna) in Dwapara Yuga and the tenth (Kalki Avatar) will appear at the end of Kali Yuga.
Dashavatar Shaligram Shilas bring good luck, good fortune, peace and happiness, spiritual enlightenment and so on. Shaligram is most beneficial effects based on the positioning of the planets in their horoscopes.
The person who offers a daily service for the salagrama stone will be freed from the fear of death, and he will cross over the stream of births and deaths.
As Vishnu abides in these stones, all the gods dwell there, all the benevolent spirits and indeed the fourteen worlds reside in these stones.Hence, we have it as an assurance from Vishnu himself that whoever worships the salagrama-stone even once will surely be liberated: and also will obtain all prosperity here, while alive.
