Bal gopal is the childhood form of Lord Krishna, a young boy portrayed as prankster, a model lover, divine hero and the supreme being. The Bal Gopal form enjoys being fed sweets such as Bals, a famous Indian sweet.

Bal Gopal is the child form of Sri Krishna and is used for worshipping at homes. It is also widely used for worship during the Janmashtami celebrations. This form of God Krishna is also referred as lalo and natkhat Ladoo Gopal.
