Kushmanda Mata is worshipped on the Fourth day of Navratri. The 4th day of Navratri is dedicated to worship of Goddess Kushmanda Mata. - the 4th form of NavDurga. According to traditional beliefs, whoever worships mother Kushmanda with true heart on the fourth day of Navratri, attains age, fame and strength. On the fourth day of the nine-day festival Goddess Durga took the form of Maa Kushmanda. Hence, on the fourth day of Navratri, Goddess Kushmanda is worshipped.

She is the one who gave light to Sun God himself. Her smiles send the vibrations of life, energy, bliss and hope in all directions.Goddess Kushmanda is the Goddess of Creation.Goddess Kushmanda rides on the lioness, depicted with eight hands. She has Kamandal, Dhanush, Bada and Kamal in the right hands and Amrit Kalash, Jap Mala, Gada and Chakra in the left hands in that order.
