Diyas or lamps are essential for any puja ritual or yajna. A diya is lit during the ritual or during the start of the Aarti and it is then rotated in clockwise direction infront of the deity invoking His blessings. Lighting a diya signifies the removal of ignorance through knowledge.
This lamp is ideal for letting the fire burn throughout the ritual. It can hold sufficient oil/ghee for the entire duration of a small puja.
Design: Made of thick brass with long lasting finish. Long cotton wicks can be used with this lamp.
